Surface Pro 4 Rotation Not Working

HI, I just installed the script on my Surface Pro 4, which is running jakeday's 4.19.18 Surface kernel on KDE Neon User Edition (Ubuntu 18.04). The script installs fine and I see two instances of auto-rotate running in the task manager, but my screen doesn't rotate when I turn the tablet. Is there something else I'm supposed to do?

can you try this:

stop it (systemctl --user stop auto-rotate)

then run it manually (bash -x ... path)

then rotate a few times. do you see any output?

you can also try running monitor-sensor and then rotate a few times, what does that say?

jakeday, please close this issue. Apparently, rotation doesn't work when the type cover is installed. I saw another issue thread on that and will post my issue there.
