Clicking the "clear form" button can sometimes break sticky fields. Look into this and try to re-create this bug.
Me: I made date elicited sticky and it worked. Then I clicked the "clear form" button when I had unsaved changes in a form entry form. I then added new data (transcription and translation) to that form and clicked save. At that point, Dative was making an empty date elicited sticky. That's the behaviour I expect. Maybe it's not what you expect (?)
User: I thought this was the problem at first, but...
Me: I had to then re-specify a date elicited and save a form with that date elicited. Subsequent form creation events had a sticky date elicited that worked. Does what I just described happen for you?
User: No, that was the problem --- even when I added the fields in question back in, they were no longer sticky. I also thought that maybe I had forgotten to hit "save", so I tried that several times just to be sure. No luck though.
