Seq doesn't work with SSL

Hello GUys ,
i am setting up a new Seq Instance and trying to install an SSL certificate to work. i used the below commands

seq bind-ssl --thumbprint="THUMBPRINT HERE"
seq config -k api.listenUris -v https://yourserver/
seq service restart

but for some reason i am unable to get the portal to load , the only thing that i see could be trouble is taht the hosting windows machine is a different name than the certificate domain name .
it seems pretty straight forward but for some reason i am unable to get it to work. any help or more questions about the json file i am willing to answer

Hi! Do you have a DNS entry (or hosts file) somewhere for seq-demo.hosting.local? This will need to point to the machine you're running on. HTH!
