Hello can not run the desktop example on Linux any help?

What is the error that you are seeing? Also did you try following the steps in our getting started guide for Java ? https://docs.couchbase.com/couchbase-lite/current/java/start/java-gs-install.html.

If you are looking for something beyond the basics, would recommend following one of our tutorials -
https://docs.couchbase.com/tutorials/mobile-travel-sample/java/installation/index.html
