Studierendenwerk stopped providing XML data (Aasee parser stopped working)

Hey everyone,

I recently realized the parser for the Aasee canteen in Münster stopped working.

I got in touch with the canteen and they said, they indeed stopped to provide the XML. But they provide an HTML you could use to parse the meals. They send me this link: https://muenster.my-mensa.de/essen.php?v=5326049&hyp=1&lang=de&mensa=aasee#aasee_tag_2020231

So far I didn't implement a parser for openmensa, but if none of you is working on it, I would give it a try.

thanks for getting in touch with the canteen and posting this issue.

Unfortunately at this time I can't help with maintaining a new canteen parser. Parsing my-mensa requires a bit more sophisticated code than what I have here, But I think a few other canteens could profit from that as my-mensa provides services to other universities too.

I will retire my Openmensa canteens in the next few days

Hey everyone,
it's sad that they switched to My-Mensa, which doesn't offer any kind of API. 😞
We need Data from Open-Mensa for Steinfurt/Münster Mensas and therefore had to build a new parser.
So in case someone is searching for ST/MS Mensadata and stumbles upon this page, here are my links:

Every little change on My-Mensa might break the parser, but I'll try to keep it up to date.
