Research Request - Monthly NTD Ridership Data Source Update

Research Question

Single sentence description:

• Update how data is read in for the Monthly Ridership by RTPA portfolio.

Detailed description:

• part of Epic - Summer Refactor (starts after TTTF4 mid-June) #1122 and Research Request - NTD by RTPA report tweaks #990

• Currently the Monthly Ridership by RTPA portfolio report reads in data by pinging a NTD URL for an excel file, transform the excel file, then cleaning the data for the published portfolio. However, the recent dim_monthly_ntd_ridership_with_adjustments table in the warehouse reads in and transforms the NTD data.

• Will need to update the existing Monthly Ridership code to read in data from the warehouse, as well as update the downstream code that produces the charts and other visuals.

• The Monthly Ridership report will have a more reliable source to pull in data via the warehouse versus extracting a excel file from NTD
