Hi,
I reconstructed thousands of sequences from several samples. However, when I attempt to assign taxonomy I end up getting tons of "Unclassified sequences" even at the domain level. From my understanding MATAM uses the database employed (in this case I used the most up to date version of SILVA) so I would expect to get some taxonomic assignments. My question is: why do we get sequences without any taxonomy?
Thanks
Joao
