With the addition of the RuneLite patcher, we basically figured out the patching logic that is necessary for any jar-based client. From here on out, it should be fairly easy to add an option to patch a custom shaded jar (not the launcher, but the client itself). We should explore this option if it is as easy as it sounds, allowing people to use their preferred bot clients if they so desire. This would be at their own risk, of course, as there's no security behind that option - it may very easily get flagged by Jagex.
If the support for this turns out to be harder than expected, drop this idea altogether. Having Native and RuneLite support is more than enough for the vast majority of people.
