Hi @markusl , thanks for requesting this. Looking at previous version support -#31695, I assume one must submit the PR like this at mentioned repository - cdklabs/awscdk-asset-kubectl#1190 and once merged, should be provided support by CDK.

Looks like cdklabs/awscdk-asset-kubectl#1581 has been merged and it would be easy to add v1.32 support. I'll work on it this week.
