Hi astuder,
First I wanted to thank you for your amazing work in this project. I had a question about the adapter shield. in your photo of the board I can see that you did not mount C3 and C4 capacitors on the shield so that means 5v connection on the board is ignored. Is that ok to use the board like you did (not mounting C3/C4 on shield and connect pins 1&2 on JP1 )?
in general, that would be helpful if you could mention default jumper connections on breakout and shield .
I appreciate very much your help on this and thanks again!

Always happy when my projects are of interest to someone :)

I added the footprints for bigger caps just in case. The 5V LDO works fine with just the 1uF caps. I did only briefly check that the camera works when powered from 3V3 or 5V, but never investigated in depth whether one or the other is better, or whether more power supply filtering is needed.

I just uploaded an image showing the back side of the shield.

Clarification: I meant HOST (i.e. 3.3V from the Nucleo board) or LDO (i.e. 5V from the Nucleo down-converted to 3.3V)

That's cool! Thanks, I'm happy you are there I can ask my questions 👍
Wish me lock by the way I'm going to reflow/solder this tiny fragile EPC901 :)
