The little core (200MHz-1'2GHz) is always on at 800MHz and it causes a heavy battery drain

Is there any way to send you a picture?
I have screenshots from Kernel Auditor (CPU frequencies) and native Android battery viewer.

I have seen that the only way to get lower frequencies than 800MHz is to set the governor to "powersave".

This issue has been discussed very intensely, see for example #116

We did a lot of test builds with different settings. Outcome:

  • Set min freq to 200 MHz didn't had any effect, so we stayed with stock settings (800 MHz)
  • Core control (disable unused cores) improved battery life by about 15 minutes per day on normal use, but introduced some new issues, so we removed it. Please note that the core ctl module in stock is closed source, so we can't use it.

I have seen that setting the governor to "performance", the core goes between each frequency and turns off
