Should /var/lib/rabbitmq be persisted in docker-compose.yml ? #360

According to the RabbitMQ image documentation:

This image makes all of /var/lib/rabbitmq a volume by default.

Should this be a mounted volume in docker-compose files ?

Yes, it should be persisted.
