Depends on approach. Some have a MAP point with altitude restriction but not all. The electronic data does not contain as much information as the charts. Using Navigraph data there are MSA sectors available: Selecting aircraft, etc. is going to be too complex for such a feature. Alex |

Since simulator navdata includes runway threshold coordinates and approaches include MDAs, I envsion a visual layer that displays circling areas around each runway end for the selected approach. To match training and reference material it should probably take each circle and merge them into one "blob", as shown in this image:
This would of course need to be based on the given standard used to develop a particular approach's circling minima (TERPS vs PANS OPS for example), and the aircraft category, which I guess should be dropdowns/selectable in some way by the user.
I don't really have a reason for this, apart from that LNM already parses the navdata and displays it on a map, and it would be interesting to visualize these protected areas in relation to nearby obstacles.
