Has anyone figured out how to manage the Tesla using one of the voice assistants? Would love to turn the HVAC on using a voice command.... |

I actually figured this out - for what I wanted to use it for. In Home Assistant in the Settings/Voice Assistants, there is the ability to "expose" entities. I exposed the Tesla HVAC to the Amazon Echo. Then when I went into the Amazon Echo App, I saw it appear under the 'thermostats' section. I was then able to make a routine similar to "Alexa, heat up the Tesla" to which she replies, "I'm preparing the Tesla now..." This is guaranteed to get a eye roll from your spouse... I love it because I don't have fumble around with my mobile phone. |
