do I leave it as long as it is in default repos (not being updated for so long may break appearances, with gtk updates over the years) or remove/disable anything ?

idea: for these themes look at each distro-base and see if its in said-repo ... maybe in some docs put a note ... or "known issues" somewhere where "themes may install and are in official repos but gtk changes may cause strange appearances due to lack of updates"

this is solving itself with distros taking packages out of their repos

I think if things are not in default repos (like experimental or community repos for OpenSUse have them but not main repos that require no additional repos) ... I may want to remove code for that distro (or show a prompt explaining how i removed/disabled the option)
