it's very crowded, here are my ideas:

  • make removing the stage/unstage buttons possible/default because they're redundant
  • if there are no changes and no commits, disable/remove commit, commit and sync, and push buttons
  • if there are only changes, disable/remove push button
  • if there are only commits, disable/remove commit and commit and sync buttons
