I'm noticing a significant disparity in the battery consumption between the two halves. I've been using the keyboard with the dongle and no bridge cable, and my left half has been draining battery significantly faster than my right half. I woke up today and the left half was dead and the right half was at 86%, despite both of them being charged to full at the same time.

I think I use both halves equally, all of my layers have LED's in use on both halves. I know the left half has a smaller battery, but one half dropping 14% while the other half drops 100% seems like an issue.

I saw that too but after a reset of the left half consumption went down significantly.

I've reset the left half multiple times since fully charging this, as I regularly encounter #1008

Well, at the moment the power consumption is high because key scanning and other polling isn't optimized at all.

When it gets optimized, the disparity may easily be much lower, since right half is taking care of more stuff (e.g., running macros, communicating over a second bluetooth link, powering oled and more backlight keys...).

In any case, please feel free to experiment with UltimateHackingKeyboard/firmware80#315.

Although yes, this can be a problem in practice.
