When using the search field with TalkBack, the user is not notified that any locations were found and how many when they submit their search. By announcing the number of results, it tells the TalkBackuser that something was found and how many. Plus, it doesn't focus on the first item in the list if there is more than one item.

This will be fixed in the next build.

Thanks, for adding the notice of how many items were found as the user typed in more letters.

It would be great if once the person uses the search button that they are focused on the first item in the list.

This should be fixed in the May 8th build?

We have the Android restriction on not being able to focus on items in the table view. Suggest we either defer to next release or close since we have other similar tickets open.

Thanks, for clarifying the issues and let's leave it open, so we remember to check in the future. It might make sense to create a GitHub LABEL that tells us which items we are leaving open for further Android updates/fixes.
