CE: Sponsors - only svg is displayed in FE

only svg is displayed in the frontend although other formats are also uploaded and the impression is created in the BE for the editor that many formats are available. either all available formats must also be displayed in the FE or it must be clear in the BE for the editor that only SVGs are displayed.

Is this really the case? I uploaded a png image into the sponsors element and it showed just fine for me.
