The code that skins the model should be flexible enough to later be adapted to have the ability to take in a set of 'nodes' from the scene.
Allow people to choose if they want to use bones or any other base object types. (I'm thinking the default shapes that you can create in a few clicks. Things like spheres boxes and cones.)
Allow people to import a model with its nodes.
Should be an option that you can turn on or off.
