Deploying same Hydrogen site to a different Shopify Stores

Hello Hydrogen team!

We're so happy with the Hydrogen, thus we decided to update all our international stores to use it. We have one repository with the Hydrogen app that we would like to reuse.

Right now we connected this repository to the main Shopify store (international) and it works brilliantly. We want to connect exactly the same repository to other Shopify stores (UK store, EU store, etc).

Do you have tips on how to do it?

P.s. When I add Hydrogen as a sales channel to Shopify and select existing repo it tries to override the previous connection.

Ok, I ended up updating oxygen-deployment.yml. I added two new steps to deploy UK storefront.

Here is my config:

I found that it deploys code to another storefront when it's in a preview. Once I merge it to the main it deploys only the first storefront.
Seems like it's connected to:

• a name of action, in my case it is oxygen-deployment-200.yml
• a line at the beginning of the action #! oxygen_storefront_id: 200

Could anyone point me in the right direction?

Checking with the team, it should create a new workflow when you link your repo to a store's channel. Is this not the case?

What does it mean to override the previous connection?

@lordofthecactus you're right. It created a new workflow file. Should I use 2 workflows instead of modifying one file?

I'd advise to make sure things work with the two workflows first, then you can try optimizing if needed.
