Can not load @shopify/shopify-api package from client component

I need to use Admin API, so did yarn add @shopify/shopify-api.
But the error was displayed on developer tool log of browser when I use its at customized react hooks that used from client component.

GET http://localhost:3000/node_modules/.vite/deps/@shopify_shopify-api.js?t=1659438457277&v=e7f23f8d net::ERR_ABORTED 504 (Gateway Timeout)

On server console (logs of yarn dev ), this error was displayed.

Vite Error, /node_modules/.vite/deps/@shopify_shopify-api.js?t=1659438457277&v=e7f23f8d optimized info should be defined

Dose anybody have the cause or solution?

Hi @sohosoki,

Can you try including the package in vite.config.js

  {
   plugins: [hydrogen()],
   ...,
   optimizeDeps: {include: ['@shopify/shopify-api']}
  }

You might want to also check this example I put together using the Admin API via a custom graphql/fetch client.

@sohosoki Did you fix the issue? I'm having issues in the build process using @shopify/shopify-api
