Некоторые фрагменты (в местах, где чернота) не проходят depth test. Скорее всего, где-то в промежутке между рендерингом поверхностей, неправильно выставляется стейт для depth test'а.

Это актуально кстати и для текстур на моделях, где у модели две прозрачные текстуры с параллельно друг другу
