In practice, gml:id is not necessary for a 0-2d feature. At least in geoserver, feature may have a gml:id in its top level and no other gml:ids on its members, including actual geometries.
However, the gml-3.2 schema requires them (see http://schemas.opengis.net/gml/3.2.1/gmlBase.xsd#AbstractGMLType).

Removed the gml:id missing warning message in #2 . I'm leaving the issue open, however, since I'd like to leave some hook or configuration option to reactivate the warning.
