App stuck forever loading

When I first started using this app a year ago it would have this problem of continuously trying to load the next page but only after scrolling for a long time. The past week it will load maybe 2 or 3 pages before it starts to try loading the next page without end. Maybe there's something in the settings I can do to fix this but I couldn't figure it out.
