What should be the default amount of HP and how should it be displayed? #932

I feel like the character should have more health, or at least more fractions of health.

We could give the player 100 health, displayed as a number, or 10 hearts displayed as quarters of health.

The number itself is pretty meaningless.
The important question is how we should display health.

I still think that it might be worth to investigate having no direct numeric output and instead use the color of the screen to notify the player if they are close to dying.

I think having it display as a number could allow for more modularity in general, as you don't have to render more hearts if you were to get a health upgrade.

Terraria kind of solved this by just changing the color of the hearts.

Thing is, we can run out of distinct colors.
