As we move forward we'll need to think about how we are going to archive our data products. I checked in with Jack about David Mladenoff's data. Below is his reply. Also when Jason and I talked, he is now a bit more hesitant to archive the point data for IL and IN, but is more comfortable with archiving it aggregated to the 8km scale. We are starting to think about analyses the lab would like to do before making the data available at the point scale.

Jack's Reply About Using David Mladenoff's Data
My understanding of our data use agreement with David is that for the WI data we are only authorized to analyze and share the 8km products. I don't think there is any restriction on archiving or sharing the raw data from the other states. At some point it would be a courtesy to contact Ed Schools of MI DNR and let him know we have a bunch of MI data ready for sharing and use.
