JAVA

Java is a widely used object-oriented programming language and software platform that runs on billions of devices, including notebook computers, mobile devices, gaming consoles, medical devices and many others. The rules and syntax of Java are based on the C and C++ languages.

INSTALLATION

STEP 1: Open Your Browser and go to the Search Bar and type java. or just Follow the link (https://www.java.com/en/)

STEP 2: Go to Downloads and select the appropriate java version for your Operating system

STEP 3: Once the installation is done Go to File Explorer > Downloads > java_installer_file

STEP 4: run the installer file. click on the install Button

STEP 5: after this the installation process is automatic. Java does everything for you hassel free.

Usage/Examples

An enormous amount of applications and websites use java and will not work unless you have Java installed. Denying yourself Java is essentially denying yourself access to technological infrastructure.

From laptops to datacenters, game consoles to scientific supercomputers, cell phones to the Internet, Java is a go-to language. Some common uses of Java are listed below:

1) 97% of Enterprise Desktops run Java.
2) 89% of Desktops (or Computers) in the U.S. run Java.
3) 9 Million Java Developers exist worldwide.
4) 3 billion mobile phones run Java.
5) There are currently over 5 billion Java Cards in use.
