I went ahead and did the following just to be safe.
Once I get the camera hooked up I'll report back on how it goes. |

Unpacking the pi_bullseye_motion_4.5.1-1_armhf.deb I have the following broken dependencies:
libavcodec59
instead of oflibavcodec58
libavdevice59
instead oflibavdevice58
libavformat59
instead oflibavformat58
libavutil57
instead oflibavutil56
libswscale6
instead oflibswscale5
I'm fine with editing the
DEBIAN/control
file or running some of thedpkg --force
options, but was curious, from a technical aspect, if the same binaries would likely work on both Bullseye and Bookworm? But since the binaries in the Buster and Bullseye deps are different, then perhaps there is some statically linked library that would blowup if I tried one of them on Bookworm.Thoughts?
PS: I'll also try to build from src, but I'll have to use
libjpeg9-dev
instead oflibjpeg8-dev
which built clean at least.Beta Was this translation helpful? Give feedback.
