My MDR triggered the other day claiming that Edge was out of date. My Edge version is 131.x and updated as of minutes ago. Devtools, in this folder:

C:\Users<user>\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Edge\User Data\Default\Extensions\kfbdpdaobnofkbopebjglnaadopfikhh\113.0.1765.0_0

appears to be stuck at v113. Upon opening devtools it updates the date and time on the various folders there to the date and time I opened devtools, but version didn't change.

Is this expected behaviour? Searching indicates that there are newer versions of devtools, but I see no indication of how to install it separately, making me think it should be updating along with the version of edge.

I even just tried downloading Edge Beta (v132.0.2957.55) and it didn't appear to get a new version of devtools.

Any assistance appreciated. :)

Hello! Based on the file path that you included, it looks like you're actually looking at the versions of extensions you have installed in your Microsoft Edge browser, not the version of the DevTools which always matches the version of the browser and is included with the browser. Try updating your browser extensions or removing them! Cheers!
