Complete lab1 and the assignment before class next Friday. We will go over submitting the PR in class again, but I'd encourage you to try yourself before then.
Enter your GitHub username + name on the document in Gitter
Lab2 is optional
27 of you all were able to submit a PR for the week-1 assignment.
This git workflow can be frustrating at first. But once you get the workflow down I am confident that (at least the homework submission aspect) will actually feel quite easy.
I created this document to walkthrough the HW submission process. If I missed something, or you have a suggestion to make that clearer, please say so. Again, this is the first year using git from the command line, so we are working out kinks.
As we said in the first class, the first half of this course moves quite quickly. Don't be discouraged. Programming is hard. We want to get everyone to a similar baseline so we can spend more time on the more interesting material. The course will have fewer weekly demands in the later half when you'll want to commit more time to other classes.
Good luck. Don't hesitate to reach out to me, @moradology or @huilingh
