Engagment Questions

Below is an initial brainstorming list of questions I am starting with to engage users of MHKiT. My plan is to have conversations with lab teams and organically discover where they are using MHKiT or where they could use MHKiT. I may not ask every question to every user as familiarity with MHKiT and Open source projects may determine a different line of questioning.

1. "Do you perform data processing tasks related to marine and hydrokinetic (MHK) technology development or analysis in your current role?"
2. "Have you utilized MHKiT for any of your data processing tasks in marine and hydrokinetic technology development or analysis?"
3. "Has MHKiT contributed to decreasing your development or data processing time? If so, could you estimate by what percentage?"
4. "Which feature of MHKiT do you find the most useful or impactful in your work, and why?"
5. "What do you find to be the most challenging or inconvenient aspect of using MHKiT?"
6. "What specific additions or changes to MHKiT would make it more appealing to you as a potential user in the future?"
7. "In how many projects have you implemented MHKiT? Could you provide some examples?"
8. "Could you share some of the projects you are currently involved in that may benefit from the use of MHKiT?"
9. "Have you developed any custom code for common workflows that you frequently use across your projects? If so, could you describe them?"
