Users are responsible for their API keys and usage costs
Users must not use the service for illegal or harmful purposes

Privacy Policy

Data Collection

PasteAI collects and processes:

Clipboard content (only when explicitly triggered by user)
Email address (for PasteAI account users)
API keys (stored locally)

Data Processing

Text is processed through OpenAI's API or local Ollama instance
No permanent storage of processed text
API keys are stored locally
Clipboard history is stored locally

Data Protection

We implement security measures to protect your data
We do not sell or share your personal information
You can request deletion of your PasteAI account data
No account is required to use the application with local processing

Third-Party Services

OpenAI API

Users must comply with OpenAI's Terms of Service
OpenAI's API usage is subject to their Privacy Policy

Ollama (Local LLM)

Local processing option available through Ollama
No data sent to external services when using Ollama
Subject to Ollama's License
