Roughly:

look in this folder

https://github.com/Kitware/minerva/tree/master/web_external/fontello

in that folder, there is a config.json

you should be able to upload that to fontello, using the wrench icon, then "import"

so, then after you upload, it should say "download webfont (2)" or some other number

then select other icons you want

that will bump the count

download a zip or whatever

and copy all that stuff in the zip to minerva/web_external/fontello

and then make sure you do a "grunt init"

I'm going to make a change to Girder soon to use Grunt to fetch the icons directly from Fontello (using just the locally-stored config file). When that gets added, we should port it over to Minerva too.

See girder/girder#1237

I'll make a PR to add this same process to Minerva, once it's finalized in Girder.

@brianhelba Could you take a look and see if Minerva using the same mechanism as girder?

Sure. Things have changed a lot for Girder since the last update here. I'll look at Minerva next week.
