A Sahidic entry ⲕⲉⲣⲉ a fish (Synodontis schall) [https://coptic-dictionary.org/entry.cgi?tla=C1326] referencing Crum 117b but this appears to be an error -- no such word is listed in Crum. I think this is error for Bohairic ⲕⲉⲣⲥ/ⲭⲉⲣⲥ with the same definition. Also see Westerndorf 511 where suggests proper form *ⲥⲉⲣⲕ (after JEA 25,274) and compares to ⲥⲁⲗⲟⲩⲕⲓ.

This is also #247
In the next version, the entry will be:

      <entry xml:id="C1326">
        <form type="lemma" xml:id="CF4060">
          <usg type="geo">ⲃ</usg>
          <orth>ⲕⲉⲣⲥ</orth>
        </form>
        <form xml:id="CF4061">
          <usg type="geo">S</usg>
          <orth>ⲭⲉⲣⲥ</orth>
        </form>
        <gramGrp>
          <pos>Subst.</pos>
          <gen>m.</gen>
        </gramGrp>
        <sense xml:id="CS1535">
          <cit type="translation">

      </entry>

Based on Crum I think the new version still has two errors:

  1. Crum lists this words as Bohairic only, so shouldn't both forms be geo=B?
  2. The siglum for Bohairic in the first form in the fragment above is a Unicode Bohairic Beta, but should be a Latin B
