The concept would be to automatically place a black outline around all the sprites in our game.
The video here goes into the concept that we want to do for the game, so a quick custom black shader for our game.
Actually we could even go a step further and make the outlines dynamic, but I believe starting with the black outline is good enough.
This will help blend in the different pixel assets that we have and give it a further polished look.

There isnt any specific idea as of right now besides just giving them a solid look.
