I have successfully installed the plugin. Only I am receiving an error which prevents viewing a temp file or saving a file. Is there an issue with my MapShaper install?

Only the first screenshot is something serious, the others are non-fatal warnings. Can you describe exactly what you do and what does not work? With a fresh QGIS profile please ;)

  1. I created a new profile.
  2. I installed the QMapshaper plugin.
  3. I added one single-part polygon shapefile (WGS84) to QGIS project.
  4. Selected 'Simplify Vector' from QMapshaper processor.

Hi @trtaylor57, looking at the screenshot, it seems that your Mapshaper setting is likely off. There is section COMMAND TO RUN in the Log and in it I see mapshaper-xl.cmd which is weird. It should be either mapshaper-xl if the Mapshaper is installed and available globally or it should be full path the file. The .cmd part there is strange.

Could you post screenshot of Options, Processing with QMapshaper settings? Like shown here. Also knowing where your Mapshaper is installed should help.
