Environment

  • Telemetry Streaming Version: 1.3.2
  • BIG-IP Version: 16.1.3.2

Summary

Version 1.3.2 started automatically writing metric data to Datadog Logs with no way to prevent this. We don't use the Datadog Logs feature and don't want to pay for it. However, in 1.3.2 there doesn't appear to be any way to prevent it from sending logs to Datadog when only metrics are desired.

Steps To Reproduce

Any use of the Datadog push consumer using 1.3.2 results in logs being sent to Datadog.

Expected Behavior

Options to prevent logs from being sent to Datadog when only metric data is desired.

Actual Behavior

Metrics AND logs are sent to Datadog even if the logs feature isn't one that we want to utilize and pay for.
