Given how much better than Exchange protocol is for mail than IMAP it would be really nice to have support these accounts with full oauth support with token renew.

I read recently that Microsoft is not giving out licenses to implement the exchange protocol, so this cannot be supported nowadays.

That’s ActiveSync.

Which is now mostly depreciated in favor of Microsoft graph.

Which is very straight forward to implement.
