Hi @lmbelo

I'm occassionally getting asked about platform support

What's the current state and limitations of all Platforms?

Last time I looked it was something like....

Windows - Full Support
Linux - ?
Mac - Problem with using embedded environments
IOS - ?
Android - Problem installling additional components

The not-so-recent changes to Pip may have changes some things as too may have the VENV enforcement in recent releases

The limitations here are Python limitations, they are not at our side. You need to check whether a component is available for your desired platform.

I don't know any issue regarding embedded environments on MacOs. Can you share the details, please?

The Mac issue was a long time ago so it's quite possible it no longer exists

I'll drag the Mac out and see how things work currently over the next day or two. As I only have a X64 can only test that but next time I rent a Apple Silicon box I'll check that too
