li in text area causing error

I have an entry relationship field set up to bring in a separate 'page text' section, which works well.

This contains a description box. When a list is added into the description box it causes an error in my custom template as all

fields are pulled out into the ul class="orderable" code.

Just wondering if anyone has come across this before who may be able to help me get around the problem.

Note if I use the 'unformatted' text there isn't an issue (presumably as the html is escaped) but from a user point of view it would be really useful to use the 'formatted' text.

Bump, still having this issue, has anyone successfully implemented 'formatted text' in an entry relationship view where there are lists, without it breaking the layout? I'm not sure where I'm going wrong? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
