Tamr (the company) rebranded its product from "Unify" to "Tamr" (the product).

Migration plan

Actions:

  • All new code / docs should not contain the work "Unify"
  • When updating existing code / docs, try to rename "Unify"/"unify" to "Tamr"/"tamr"

🚨 Warning 🚨

Note that currently (Oct. 3, 2019) the package we publish to PyPI is called tamr-unify-client. Anything that references the actual python package (e.g. as opposed to the Github repo, the name of Tamr's product, etc..) should not be updated until #74 is resolved.

Current plan is to continue development on tamr-client package. Once tamr-client (TC) has feature parity with tamr-unify-client (TUC), we can deprecate (and eventually remove) TUC.

Once TC is out of beta, we can switch our publishing process to publish under the tamr-client project name.
