Describe the bug
A clear and concise description of what the bug is.

The VOD doesn't load the new player keeps loading and loading. Tried different browsers and even on the phone it doesn't load.
To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Open latest vod https://lirik.tv/vod/248cb530-2a33-4c1b-bf5f-9ada001a34b9
  2. Experience the infinite loading cycle

Expected behavior
A clear and concise description of what you expected to happen.
I expect video to load :)

Desktop (please complete the following information):

  • OS: Win 10
  • Browser Vivaldi
  • Version 4.0.2312.33

Whats you're internet speed? Currently our custom Vods dont have a quality selection and thus you are forced to load the 1080p 60FPS video so you need above average internet speed.

Would be nice if you could provide me with a speedtest.net result and we look from there

Also sometimes hitting CTRL+SHIFT+R helps. So try that

I think my internet is good enough to watch 1080p60 video

Now once video is loading it's buffering like crazy I guess my pc can't handle it lol

I have the same problem here. Can this be a problem becasue I am from Europe?

No, it is the same endless buffering :(

Maybe a little. Loading seems faster and it doesn't buffer as much as at the time of my last comment. Two more things. 1st it would be nice if the player would track the progress just like yt or twitch does. Second the quality changing option would be nice to.

As its only available in 1080p60fps it needs quite some speed to run fluid

@MannixMD Progress tracking is on the todo list. That will be done locally tho so just on your browser. Maybe in the future we'll move it to the backend but atm we store nothing of our users.
Quality selection is not yet sure. It takes a ton of computational effort to encode and takes up extra space. Both of which we are not sure is maintainable.

huh and with that speed it still buffers. thats weird. Doesnt buffer for me atm. Where do you live? @jusanyk

Europe -> Hungary -> Budapest

Ill do some more testing and see if i can find some anomalies. but i cant reproduce endless buffering so im unsure what else i can do since we're not a huge company or anything
