24.09 AU: Hang when loading saved presets in Logic #728
Comments
Can you try the latest nightly build? There have been some improvements to the AU versions, so worth a shot. |
Thank you, I'll give it a try. Where are the nightly builds? Github doesn't make is easy to find them. The only release I can find is from Sept 24th. |
They are in the Actions tab: https://github.com/DISTRHO/Cardinal/actions/runs/12329774796 |
Thanks again, can you help me to understand what I'm looking at there? I see at the top of the list that there is "Build #2071" In progress, and below that Build #2070: Merge branch 'codygeary-CVfunk' When I click that, I see at the left of the page a list of Operating Systems. Clicking 'macos' just goes to folders of code. It's not at all obvious to me where to find a compiled testable version of a nightly build. |
@zmixnyc at the bottom of the page I linked you see all the build Artifacts. Here is the macOS build: https://github.com/DISTRHO/Cardinal/actions/runs/12329774796/artifacts/2321099073 |
Thanks for the direct link. I cannot get there via the project page. I can get to the "Actions" part of the URL via the tab at the top , but not the "runs" subfolder (not visible on the page). |
Update: Same problem as in the OP Latest build gets stuck loading presets saved in Logic AU format, endless beachball / pinwheel. Seems to load some parts of preset (I hear the delay effect in the selected preset has been added to the Cardinal default patch). |
