Feature Suggestion: Shunting Mode

Here is my idea;

During shunting maneuvers it might be nice to rotate the knob into the negative to reverse quickly.

I would make it so that you can define 1 function button as the shunting toggle, the user would set this to the same function as they have set their dcc function for shunting speed and/or no inertia. (similar to how JMRI does their shunting mode in their throttle)

Did a quick Google for JMRI shunting.
Is this a way to toggle into a speed mode where it could go from -127 to 127 instead of 0 to 127?

yes, when setting the function labels in JRMI you can set 1 of the functions as the 'shunt' option:
