Subject: Clicking on event card results in "event not found" error
Description:
Clicking on the card should take you to the event, but it does not. Today is 2025/1/24 and the event goes to Feb 6th, so It should take me to the event.

I was able to replicate: When I call events.Events.GetEvent using the admin portal, it throws an error:

Seems like an issue with the api since the event clearly exists (or once existed).

I thought maybe it is an issue with the events.Events.CancelEvent api, but I tested it on prod and it worked as expected.

@jesseallhands on a separate note I'm not sure that should even be an event. It looks like someone trying to get a host.

@nabramow yeah, people misuse the events feature for that purpose all the time. When we eventually roll out the "public trips" feature that BeWelcome and CS have it should resolve it. People have been clamoring for that feature for a while but it's been on the back burner
