Firefox profile contina binaries, databases, and all sort of madness.
It is unelegant and difficult to review.
Also, having those things in /etc/skel is a waste of space.

Some part of this issue could be moved to separate issues: for example we could have one issue about removing places.sqlite and switch to bookmarks.html, one other to review prefs.js and still keep this open for a more general review.
