It would be nice if there was a way to specify the version string without the api method prepending /api if the string isn't 1.0.
When I set it to 2.0, /api is prepended.
The version is displayed on the API page and I'd like to say that this is version 'X' of the API on that page without altering apipie's behavior

if you can implement it in a non-obstructive way for other users, we can consider including this change. otherwise, its unlikely someone pick it up as a task.
