Description

Access to the NOAA palaeoenvironment datasets directly through a type provider would be very useful when working with long-term ecological modelling.

Proposed is to add a type provider for using the NOAA API that would enable:

  • Direct import and use of any time-series dataset from the International Tree-Ring Database (ITRDB) via the Dendro package.
  • Direct import and use of sedimentary records (e.g. pollen).
