Niagara launcher eating a lot of battery in CMF Phone 1 (Nothing OS 2.6)?

Describe the bug

I'm checking my phone's battery usage and Niagara Launcher is eating a lot of battery ranking 2nd/3rd. I already set it to Restricted and the only widget (aside from default weather, time and agenda widgets), I'm using in a pop-up folder is Brave's quick search.

Steps to reproduce

Install Niagara Launcher on CMF Phone 1. Setup usual widgets and a Brave quick search widget in a folder. Set the battery usage to Restricted and then observe battery usage.

Does the issue also occur with other 3rd-party launchers?
